Hip Hop Dance Class

Hip-hop is a fast urban form of dance that is often seen on television music videos. This totally clean hip-hop class is designed with a funky flair of technique and fun!

Lisa Nicks' class description: The hip hop class references New York style street dance,
an ever evolving dance form. Students explore technique, style, and choreography in all five forms: stepping, locking and popping, waving, vogueing, and breaking.

Historically, pure hip hop is a solo dance expression, the class will follow the evolution of this dance to include the form of group work one often sees in pop and rap performers background dancers.
